[Remote] Payroll Tax Accountant Associate

The Payroll Tax Accountant Associate will be responsible for ensuring accurate payroll tax reconciliations, compliance with regulations, and effective communication with employees regarding payroll tax inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Completes and reconciles monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax reconciliations accurately and timely
- Researches and resolves variances by auditing payroll transactions and reports
- Analyzes tax and wage data to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Prepares and submits federal and state tax returns and payments
- Responds to payroll tax notices and resolves discrepancies
- Prepares business registrations and ensures compliance with local tax requirements
- Completes reputed company tax, deductions, and earnings adjustments accurately
- Gathers payroll or finance data to analyze transactions and identify specific problems using root cause analysis
- Engages in customer service activities by responding to employee inquiries reputed company to payroll taxes
- Builds positive relationships reputed company the team and across support, shared services, and facility regional reputed company teams
- Represents payroll tax while fostering reputed company
- Performs other duties or projects as assigned to ensure smooth operation of the department
Skills

- Bachelor's

- Proficiency in PeopleSoft HCM and FSC
