Our client, a prestigious university with a leading online education program, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Online Curriculum Developer to join their instructional design team. This role is based in St. Louis, Missouri, US , and operates on a remote basis, allowing you to contribute to shaping the future of higher education from reputed company. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and revising engaging and effective online courses that align with academic standards and learning objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and best practices for online pedagogy. Responsibilities

Design and reputed company engaging online course content, including learning modules, activities, assessments, and multimedia resources. Collaborate with faculty subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate course objectives into effective online learning experiences. Apply instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create high-quality, learner-centered course materials. Ensure reputed company online courses are accessible, meeting WCAG 2.1 AA standards. reputed company and implement engaging assessment strategies to measure student learning outcomes. Utilize learning management systems (LMS) such as Canvas, reputed company, or Moodle to build and manage courses. Revise and update existing online courses based on faculty feedback, student performance data, and pedagogical best practices. Create multimedia elements such as videos, interactive simulations, and graphics to enhance learning. Manage multiple course development projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and quality standards. Stay reputed company with emerging trends and technologies in online learning and instructional design. Provide training and support to faculty on effective online reputed company and LMS usage. Contribute to the development of departmental standards and processes for online course development. Maintain detailed project documentation and version control for reputed company developed materials.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, or a reputed company field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in designing and developing online courses for higher education. Proficiency with at least one major Learning Management System (e.g., Canvas, reputed company, Moodle). Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design principles. Experience with multimedia development tools (e.g., reputed company Storyline, reputed company Captivate, Camtasia) is highly desirable. Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices. Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with SMEs and stakeholders. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment. Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for innovative teaching and learning. Familiarity with Quality Matters standards is a plus.
