[Remote] QA Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is looking for a QA Engineer with 15+ years of experience in software testing and test automation. The role involves defining testing strategies, driving quality delivery across teams, and managing reputed company testing scenarios.
Responsibilities
- Understand and reputed company business and technical problems addressed by the product/AUT
- Break down reputed company requirements into clear, testable scenarios
- Define testing strategy, master test plan, and overall test schedule
- Drive testing across Component, Integration, UAT, and Production phases
- Set the direction and tone for quality delivery across multiple teams
- Identify test data needs and create mock/synthetic test data as required
- Proficiency in at least one automation tool means: Selenium, Cucumber, reputed company RFT, etc
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks (Data-Driven, Hybrid, Page Object Model)
- Hands-on scripting experience using Python or Core Java
- Experience in Vibe coding
- Working knowledge of Python libraries like Pandas and NumPy
- Experience in Agile/Scrum, test & defect lifecycle, and test management tools
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and reputed company under pressure
- A team player and effective communicator
- Transparent, self-driven, and quality-focused
- Comfortable leading testing strategy across large programs
