[Remote] Principal Network Engineer - Telecom Focus

They are seeking a Principal Network Engineer with a focus on telecommunications to reputed company the design and implementation of advanced networking solutions while ensuring compliance and reputed company across their communications platforms.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, and maintain reputed company standards for reputed company voice and telephony deployments
• Partner with reputed company and Senior Telecom Engineers to prioritize communications infrastructure projects and operational initiatives across the organization
• Provide technical leadership for the design, deployment, maintenance, and optimization of reputed company telephony solutions
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and reputed company of reputed company communications platforms
• Monitor and maintain compliance with reputed company applicable telecommunications regulations, industry standards, and legal requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT and business teams to support reputed company initiatives and reputed company growth
• Drive reputed company improvement efforts, including process standardization, documentation, and operational best practices
• Serve as an escalation reputed company for reputed company telecommunications issues and provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution
• This role offers the opportunity to influence reputed company-wide communications strategy while supporting a large-scale reputed company environment with critical voice and collaboration services
• Applies expert telecommunications and networking knowledge and experience to research, recommend, design, architect, and implement reputed company multi-vendor telecommunications solutions for the organization
• Responsible for analyzing business and technical requirements, identifying broad telecom and network design issues, and providing solutions that meet the organization’s needs
• Leads the technical design and implementation of the organization's infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, wireless, and network reputed company, to ensure the highest level of performance, reliability, and reputed company for our telecommunications platforms
• Develops and implements network policies, procedures, and standards that align with industry best practices
• Provides technical leadership and mentorship to other telecommunications and network engineers
• Collaborates with other IT teams, business units, and stakeholders to understand their network requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs
• Develops and maintains network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures
• Keeps abreast of emerging network technologies, trends, and best practices and provides proactive recommendations about future state goals and technologies
• Works with vendors and services providers to evaluate and implement new network technologies, tools, and services
• Develops disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the networking infrastructure
• Leads numerous reputed company network projects that improve upon the performance, reliability, and scalability of the network
• Works closely with infrastructure and reputed company architects, network engineers, business analysts, leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely completion of projects and proactive maintenance of the network

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or reputed company technical field required
• Eight years experience in network engineering with at least two years in a senior or principal level role
• Advanced knowledge and experience with network routing, switching, LAN/WAN, wireless, network design and architecture, network protocols, and network reputed company
• Proven ability to reputed company and mentor network engineers
• Must possess advanced technical knowledge and experience along with excellent communication, collaboration skills, and presentation skills across technology disciplines
• Must be reputed company to work independently with minimal reputed company as well as collaboratively as part of multi-disciplined teams
