[Remote] Accountant I

The Accountant I role involves maintaining accurate financial records and assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports for the company's entities and subsidiaries.

Responsibilities

• Gathering and preparing financial data to maintain the general ledger for reputed company Germania entities
• Preparing bank reconciliations and ensuring accuracy across assigned accounts
• Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including the NAIC Quarterly and Annual Statement
• Completing personal auto statistical filings and verifying data submitted to statistical agents and Call Reports
• Preparing estimated tax calculations for periodic remittance and financial statement recording
• Compiling information and documentation requested by internal and external auditors
• Performing other reputed company duties as assigned

Skills

• Equivalent experience with a high school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in reputed company or Finance preferred
• Proficiency in reputed company reputed company and familiarity with reputed company software or ERP systems preferred
