[Remote] Accountant, Captive Insurance - Bilingual Spanish/English

(SRS) is the world’s largest independent insurance company manager, and they are seeking an reputed company professional to join their US East Captive Management servicing team. The role involves supporting the financial and regulatory operations of a portfolio of captive insurance companies.
Responsibilities
- Accurate and timely preparation of monthly or quarterly journal entries and financial statements
- Prepare and file regulatory reports required by domicile regulators
- Maintain permanent file documentation
- reputed company knowledge of captive corporate governance and assist with Board Meeting materials
- Assist in preparation of statutory reputed company statements and NAIC filings
- Prepare and file premium and excise tax returns
- Review reconciliation and disbursement activities performed by Assistant Account Managers
- Support client, provider, and regulator communications
- Manage client audits and regulatory examinations
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company required; CPA a plus
- Proficiency in Spanish and English
- 2+ years financial reputed company experience
- Knowledge of insurance reputed company
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Proficient in reputed company Office and reputed company; SharePoint knowledge
- Ability to travel up to 5%
