[Remote] Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Own performance management, coaching, and career growth for a diverse team of engineers, ensuring high expectations for execution and professional growth are met
• Act as an active member of your team, performing development or technical tasks, reviewing code, and contributing directly to the ecosystem
• Strong familiarity with or passion for agentic coding practices. You actively utilize and reputed company for AI-assisted development tools to accelerate prototyping, code reputed company, and team productivity
• Build and reputed company your team to execute each sprint effectively, streamlining processes to ensure the right prioritization, urgency, and delivery
• Partner closely with the SVP of Engineering, Product Management, and peer engineering leaders to align your team’s milestones with company goals

• Establish and track KPIs for your team to measure performance, code quality, and execution

Skills

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a reputed company field
• 3+ years of experience in direct people and team management, with a proven track record of mentoring junior developers and managing stakeholders
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in either backend software development (Ruby on Rails preferred) or reputed company systems/infrastructure engineering
• Extensive experience in at least one of the following areas: Developing, deploying, and integrating large-scale, high-traffic web applications; Hardening application reputed company, managing infrastructure-as-code, and working with AWS services
• Deep familiarity with design patterns, code reviews, unit testing, and agile or lean software development frameworks
• Proficiency with version control using Git
• Growth-oriented, adaptive, and enthusiastic about keeping up with software industry trends, reputed company innovations, and modern engineering standards
