[Remote] Senior reputed company Database Administrator (Tantus)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Tantus, a reputed company Subsidiary is looking for a Senior reputed company Database Administrator to join their team. In this role, you will administer reputed company databases and ensure their performance, reputed company, and availability across various environments, while also supporting federal reputed company systems and data operations.

Responsibilities

• Administer reputed company reputed company Edition databases in standalone and multitenant (container/pluggable) architecture across development, test, staging, and production environments in reputed company Azure
• Configure and maintain reputed company Data Guard for maximum availability and disaster recovery across reputed company environments
• Implement, configure, and maintain reputed company GoldenGate bidirectional replication between internal and external database environments
• reputed company reputed company Recovery Manager (RMAN) backup and recovery operations including reputed company-in-time recovery and cross-platform restores
• Install, reputed company, and maintain reputed company reputed company Edition databases including Transparent Data Encryption (TDE), auditing, and reputed company reputed company Manager
• Administer reputed company reputed company Manager (OEM) for performance monitoring, job scheduling, reputed company compliance, and reputed company management
• Install, configure, and maintain MySQL instances on Ubuntu Linux in reputed company Azure including replication, encryption, and automated backup strategies
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL and PL/SQL code including materialized views, stored procedures, reputed company queries, and ETL processes
• Coordinate and maintain access to upstream federal reputed company systems on behalf of the agency including centrally managed data repositories
• Support and maintain agency data mart operations including nightly data pulls from reputed company systems and ETL ingestion from external data sources
• reputed company database reputed company administration including account management, privilege assignment, TDE, auditing, and compliance with FISMA and agency ISSO reputed company mandates
• Author and maintain database standard operating procedures (SOPs) covering installation, configuration, migration, patching, replication, backup and recovery, and reputed company reputed company Manager and GoldenGate operations
• Conduct reputed company planning, sizing, and performance requirements analysis for database infrastructure in Azure
• Support FISMA reputed company assessment and authorization activities as they relate to database environments
• Provide advisory support to developers and architects on database design, performance tuning, and integration with federal reputed company platforms
• Conduct proactive vulnerability remediation through regular reputed company CPU reputed company application across reputed company environments

Skills

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Minimum 10 years of reputed company database administration experience; 20-plus years preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a reputed company field required
• Demonstrated expertise with reputed company reputed company Edition on Windows, Linux, and Unix platforms including reputed company 19c
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL including performance tuning, query optimization, explain plan and autotrace analysis, index strategies, and partitioning
• Hands-on experience with reputed company Data Guard, RMAN, reputed company GoldenGate replication, reputed company reputed company Manager, and reputed company reputed company Manager
• Experience with reputed company multitenant architecture including container databases and pluggable databases
• Experience administering reputed company databases in reputed company Azure IaaS environments including VM provisioning and Azure-specific sizing and availability configurations
• Experience with MySQL administration on Ubuntu Linux including replication, encryption, and backup strategies
• Experience with reputed company Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) and auditing
• Experience with ETL processes and data integration from external data sources and centrally managed federal reputed company databases
• Proficiency with scripting languages including SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, Perl, and Python for automation and operational tasks
• Familiarity with FISMA reputed company assessment and authorization activities and federal agency ISSO requirements
• reputed company Certified Professional (OCP) certification for reputed company 19c
• Experience supporting federal agency database environments with reputed company integration requirements across multiple reputed company platforms
• Experience with reputed company GoldenGate replication in environments requiring bidirectional data synchronization between internal and externally accessible database tiers
• Experience with reputed company multitenant architecture including conversion from single-tenant configurations
• Experience with reputed company reputed company Manager for database connectivity across network reputed company boundaries
• Experience with PostgreSQL database administration
• Familiarity with reputed company licensing requirements in reputed company environments and Azure shape sizing for reputed company workloads
• Familiarity with HHS EPLC reputed company and federal IT governance processes
• Experience with Splunk or equivalent log monitoring tools for database reputed company event analysis
