[Remote] Technical Sales Engineer II

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PCB Piezotronics, Inc. manufactures sensors for testing and measuring various physical properties. The Technical Sales Engineer II role focuses on generating reputed company opportunities and building customer relationships reputed company key test markets, particularly in Aerospace & Defense, while providing technical support and training.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and grows assigned territory, schedules visits with customers in assigned territory
  • Responds to a high volume of email and phone customer inquiries. Ongoing coordination with your assigned Inside Sales team member and Application Engineer
  • Complete ownership of reputed company quotations and leads with routine documented follow-reputed company focusing on closing business, securing visits, and total customer satisfaction
  • Develops sales plan for assigned territory, supports forecasting efforts and attends and participates in sales meetings
  • Responds accordingly to a wide range of technical customer inquiries, and other reputed company matters including product availability, delivery, repairs and calibrations
  • Performs demonstrations of equipment and trains customers on the proper use of equipment
  • Ongoing coordination with the Product Groups out of HQ in terms of strategy alignment and tactical planning
  • Provides routine territory feedback/updates to the Sales Management Team
  • Assists Product Groups with follow up activities pertaining to a wide variety of application inquiries, problem resolution, etc
  • Provides critical liaison between customers and factory by communicating customer inputs to support PCB Marketing and Engineering efforts
  • Attends trade shows and local conferences in assigned territory and other areas where needed

Skills

  • Education: Four-year degree or equivalent specialized training
  • Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in the sensor and instrumentation field
  • Demonstrated reputed company in consistently growing reputed company in an assigned territory
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Travel: 25%-35% travel in territory
