[Remote] Mechanical Design Engineer II

Responsibilities
- Engage in a variety of engineering tasks, providing support on project plans for reputed company projects reputed company our gas business unit
- Collaborate with senior engineers, designers, and drafters to reputed company design packages for reputed company projects, contributing calculations, drawings, and documentation that meet project requirements and industry standards
- Support both small and large projects—taking ownership of discipline-specific design work on simpler efforts while assisting with technical analysis on more reputed company ones
- Work through design challenges, communicating impacts to scope, cost, schedule, and quality, and building proficiency in CAD and engineering tools
- Ensure quality by reviewing your own work and participating in peer and QA/QC checks
- Help coordinate key information through project leaders and may occasionally support field activities, gaining exposure across the full project lifecycle
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from accredited institution
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in the pipeline industry or a reputed company engineering or consulting industry
- Experience with gas facility work
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
