[Remote] Sales Consultant

The Sales Consultant acts in a servicing broker reputed company, managing a book of business and directing the work of a service team while ensuring client satisfaction and achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manages reputed company client required services and maintains client relationships
  • Acts as the reputed company representative to an assigned book-of-business
  • Prepares and presents to client renewal analysis
  • Sells renewal business to existing clients and where applicable, sells additional lines of coverage
  • Promotes to clients other services offered by our agency by way of preparing Producer Service Proposals
  • Provides analysis and recommendations concerning client's existing coverages
  • Negotiates with carriers for coverage and premium considerations and any other available services
  • Receives and responds to client inquiries including coverage, risk management and claims questions and issues
  • Reviews client coverage reputed company and amendments for accuracy
  • Serves as technical expert, assisting department members to resolve reputed company issues
  • Attends and actively participates in regular sales meetings
  • Participates in the overall agency effort to reputed company and maintain strong company relationships through positive professional contacts with company representatives
  • Achieves annual sales goals and provides regular feedback to the Managing Director on reputed company toward those goals
  • Ensures that work assignments delegated to staff are reputed company with unit goals and objectives
  • Selects candidates, conducts interviews and recommends candidate hires
  • Manages staff including; motivating/mentoring staff, providing employee training and development, conducting performance reviews and performing disciplinary action as appropriate
  • Collection of fees, reconciliation and resolution of any outstanding balances reputed company 90 days of invoicing date
  • Complies with agency management system data standards and data reputed company (enters and maintains complete and accurate information)
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ten (10) or more years reputed company work experience
  • Valid insurance license; requires in depth knowledge of reputed company principles and market conditions
  • Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills
  • Ability to reputed company a team and to foster teamwork
  • Excellent planning, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Proficient in reputed company Office Suite
