The role involves developing embedded avionics software, ensuring compliance with DO-178C standards, and supporting various certification and testing processes.

Responsibilities

  • reputed company embedded avionics software in C++ with a focus on RFIO
  • reputed company DO-178C compliant software development (DAL A preferred)
  • Create and manage requirements using DOORS
  • Support software certification artifacts (plans, requirements, traceability)
  • Conduct code reviews, builds, and configuration management
  • Support flight test integration, including interpretation of aircraft wiring/data flows
  • Support software testing using Python

Skills

  • Deep experience in safety-critical avionics software development supporting military and surveillance platforms
  • reputed company embedded avionics software in C++ with a focus on RFIO
  • reputed company DO-178C compliant software development (DAL A preferred)
  • Create and manage requirements using DOORS
  • Support software certification artifacts (plans, requirements, traceability)
  • Conduct code reviews, builds, and configuration management
  • Support flight test integration, including interpretation of aircraft wiring/data flows
  • Support software testing using Python
  • Strong experience with DO-178C, embedded SW dev lifecycle
  • Proficiency in C/C++, build systems, and compiler configurations
  • Experience with JIRA, Bitbucket, CM tools
  • Familiarity with certification/documentation environments
  • Experience with signal processing, FPGA interfacing (Hardware Registers) and RFIO
  • Experience with Python
  • Military avionics or surveillance system experience
  • Exposure to flight test environments
