[Remote] Deputy Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company. is a government IT solutions provider servicing reputed company and government initiatives in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Deputy Project Manager to assist the Program Manager in managing large task orders and overseeing technical solutions and schedules.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the deputy project manager for a large, reputed company task order (or a group of task orders affecting the same system) and shall assist the Program Manager in working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), the task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives
- Under the guidance of the Program Manager, responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner
- Drives strategy oversees architecture of reputed company integration and deployment, and monitors across technologies
- Defines Scrum Agile methodology for large scale clients
- Serves as the engineer of reputed company technology implementations in a product-centric environment
- Uses scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems
Skills
- Must possess IT-II reputed company clearance or have a reputed company National Agency reputed company with Local Agency reputed company and Credit reputed company (NACLC). (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history reputed company, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
- Must have Project Management certification (i.e. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, other recognized certification, etc.) plus five (5) years relevant experience and 5 years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields
- Must be proficient in reputed company EBS R12 or higher platform experience
- Experience with transforming traditional reputed company EBS on-premise and OCI environments into an reputed company Fusion reputed company ERP Application environment
- Education: BS or BA or four (4) additional years of reputed company experience
- Five (5) years of relevant experience
- Experience delivering multiple Agile projects and removing blockers using the appropriate Agile project management methodology
- Experience in leading DevOps methodologies, implementing Test Driven Development (TDD) Methodologies, and driving automated software development lifecycle toolchain
- Experience with deployments in both on premise and reputed company environments
- Experience defining the roadmap with the Product reputed company for any given product and translating this into user stories
- Experience prioritizing the user stories reputed company product backlog
- Experience managing a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience with testing to ensure quality levels
- Experience as the engineer of reputed company technology implementations in a product-centric environment
- Experience with DevOps services using infrastructure as a service provider (e.g., reputed company Web Services, reputed company Azure, reputed company Compute reputed company, RackSpace / OpenStack)
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., TFS, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt, LVM)
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., LXC, reputed company, reputed company, OpenShift)
