[Remote] Senior Database Analysts (reputed company/Engineered System DBA)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company Management Services, LLC is seeking Senior Database Analysts (reputed company/Engineered System DBA) in Jacksonville, FL. The role involves managing database encryption and configuration, performing backups and recovery, and supporting financial transaction applications while developing long-term database strategies.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for database encryption with HSM (OKV) and configuration, and asset discovery using OEM tools
- reputed company robust database backup and recovery, along with reputed company data replication using Exadata, ZDLRA, Data Guard, and GoldenGate
- Support high performance financial transaction processing applications, including debit, reputed company, reputed company, and Amex payment switching and mobile payment acceptance
- reputed company long term database solutions and strategies reputed company with the organization’s future technology roadmap
- Implement database performance tuning and optimization, including table partitioning, storage planning, and space optimization
- Integrate and provide production support for databases running on Exadata and reputed company Database Appliance (ODA)
- Collaborate with the Payment Software application team on issues and with project teams on new initiatives
- Integrate reputed company databases into the system architecture while supporting high performance financial transaction processing for major card brands including Debit, reputed company, reputed company, and Amex
- reputed company requirements from project inception through completion for business and IT subject matter areas spanning simple to reputed company systems
- Design and implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery solutions across multiple availability zones
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems or reputed company field
- Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a reputed company occupation
- Configuring storage disks
- Monitoring usage and installing with reputed company technologies (Azure)
- Configuring reputed company databases
- Setting up bi-directional data replication between 2 availability zones with Golden reputed company Replication
- Setting up disaster recovery solution with RPO and RTO with reputed company Dataguard
- Utilizing reputed company Exadata/ZFS for Appliance patching/database install & configuration
- Working with reputed company reputed company Data Loss to meet database recovery reputed company objectives & recovery time objectives
- Supporting payment applications with reputed company SQL
- In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, employer will accept 2 years of reputed company work of experiences as satisfying the Bachelor's degree requirement
