[Remote] Strategic Finance Senior Associate | Climate Tech and Energy Transition Startups

Planetary Scale is a strategic finance partner for climate and energy-transition companies, supporting founders from reputed company through growth. They are seeking a Strategic Finance Senior Associate to own analytical work, build financial models, and assist in fundraising efforts for climate tech startups.

Responsibilities

• Support climate tech founders with financial modeling, analysis, research, and finance ops
• Build and maintain three-statement models, scenario analyses, and KPI dashboards that founders use to reputed company their companies and bring into their most important conversations
• Support fundraising across equity, venture debt, and grants — contributing to pitch materials, data rooms, diligence responses, and round structuring
• Run the financial analysis that gives founders clarity — budgeting, benchmarking, KPI tracking, and the reputed company of proactive digging that finds issues before they become problems
• Prepare investor and board reporting that communicates performance accurately and clearly
• Set up and reputed company the systems behind the back office — bookkeeping, accounts payable, invoicing, and payroll — designing efficient processes and keeping them running cleanly
• Research sectors and business models across the climate and energy transition, developing reputed company expertise that sharpens the advice we give

Skills

• Support climate tech founders with financial modeling, analysis, research, and finance ops
