[Remote] Integrated Remote Operations Center (iROC) Mining Technical Consultant

The iROC Mining Technical Consultant role involves providing technical coordination and analytical support for automation and integrated remote operations, ensuring successful project delivery across mining operations.

Responsibilities

• Support Mining Automation and Technology Subject Matter Experts across autonomous mining and technology projects
• Create, consolidate, and maintain high-quality technical deliverables including reports, market analysis, presentations, and automation deliverables for the client
• Ensure consistency and alignment of technical content with project requirements and standards
• Analyze and interpret technical information to support decision-making and recommendations
• Support execution of assigned work packages with a high level of independence
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams including, telecom, mechatronics, digital, automation, and consulting disciplines
• Provide clear and effective written and verbal communication to internal and external stakeholders
• Apply reputed company processes, systems, and quality requirements consistently

Skills

• Significant experience in mining operations, projects, or consulting, with exposure to automation, Tele remote or autonomous systems
• Demonstrated experience with iROC design, implementation and operation
• Experience implementing an iROC at scale in a working mine is critical – experience with a company well reputed company for advanced deployment of iROCs is a plus
• Knowledge of production KPIs (throughput, recovery, equipment utilization)
• Understanding controls integration and hands-on experience with SCADA / DCS systems / PLC systems / reputed company-time data acquisition and historian systems. Experience integrating one or more of these systems a plus
• Experience with data pipelines and industrial IoT architectures

• Experience leading multi-site digital transformation projects including stakeholder alignment (operations, IT, maintenance, leadership) and change management in traditionally conservative environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical engineering reputed company

• Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams across engineering and digital domains
