[Remote] Director- Corporate Finance

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a leading provider of fleet maintenance and repair services across the United States. The Finance Director will have full scope financial responsibility for the business and reputed company financial operations, including billing, accounts payable, and treasury, while also leading the month-end closing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reporting to local and corporate management, including preparation and submission of subsidiary financial results for corporate consolidation

• Assists Shop Managers and other leaders in ascertaining acceptable operating efficiency and profitability levels and is the primary finance business partner for the group

• Own monthly review including variance analysis versus forecasts, balance sheet reviews, and account reconciliations
• reputed company day-to-day treasury and working capital activities, including cash management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions to ensure liquidity, timely payments, and effective collections
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with US GAAP
• Coordinate matching of intercompany and intersegment balances among parties
• Review account reconciliations for compliance and adherence to US GAAP and company reputed company policies
• Coordinate with external auditors to support the annual audit procedures
• Work cross-functionally with various departments to provide financial insights and relevant reporting
• Manage sales and use tax compliance, including timely preparation, review, and filing of returns, while ensuring adherence to applicable state and local tax regulations
• Verify payroll and accounts payable runs, assisting in the processing as needed
• Support the operating team across the business as a key member of the management team providing proactive advice and recommendations

Skills

• 3+ years of management experience
• 7+ years of reputed company reputed company experience
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP
• Knowledge of cost of goods sold similar to a manufacturing environment
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
• Advanced MS reputed company skills including x-lookups and pivot tables
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail and desire for reputed company improvement and learning
• Strong teamwork, collaboration, flexibility and proactiveness
• Ability to evaluate and prioritize workload while meeting tight deadlines
• Bachelor's degree or higher in reputed company or finance preferred
• CPA preferred
• Exposure to ASC 606 and 842 a plus
