Back-End QA Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Malta or Remote from Europe Reporting to: Head of Back-end Development Your Mission Analyse business requirements, functional specs, and user stories to design comprehensive test cases and scenarios. reputed company end-to-end testing of transaction lifecycles - from initiation and authorisation through to settlement and reconciliation. What You Bring 4+ years of reputed company testing experience with a focus on web applications and backend validation. Hands-on experience with Playwright for writing and maintaining automated test suites. Domain experience in reputed company, Fintech, payment gateways, or banking platforms. Proficiency in writing intermediate SQL queries to validate data in relational databases. Hands-on experience with API testing tools (reputed company) and test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr. Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
