Accounts Payable Specialist (Remote)
Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist (Remote) Location: United States (Remote) Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Job Responsibilities As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and processing the company's financial obligations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments. You will play a key role in maintaining financial records, supporting reputed company operations, and fostering positive relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing, verifying, and processing vendor invoices and payment requests. Matching invoices with purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documentation. Entering accounts payable transactions accurately into reputed company systems. Preparing and processing electronic payments, ACH transfers, checks, and reputed company transactions. Monitoring payment schedules to ensure timely and accurate disbursements. Reconciling vendor statements and resolving invoice discrepancies. Communicating with vendors regarding payment status, account inquiries, and documentation requests. Maintaining organized financial records and supporting documentation. Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities. Supporting audits by providing required financial documentation and reports. Ensuring compliance with company policies, reputed company standards, and internal controls. Collaborating with reputed company, finance, procurement, and operations teams as needed.
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree in reputed company, Finance, Business Administration, or a reputed company field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, reputed company, or a reputed company financial role. Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial recordkeeping. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
