Description reputed company is seeking a Splunk Developer to support a new reputed company Force Program. This is a fully remote position with no onsite requirements. This project provides software development and data analysis, as directed, to reputed company Force Directorate of Weather and reputed company Force Life Cycle Management Center's (AFLCMC) effort to migrate data, software, and operations to the reputed company Force Weather (AFW) Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). The reputed company Force Weather Program Office (AFLCMC/HBAW) is responsible for managing the enterprise architecture and engineering technical solutions to address capability gaps, and the development, sustainment, and modernization of the full AFW enterprise. This position will integrate with AFLCMC/HBAW and provide technical expertise as input to a government led team of contractors and government personnel planning for migration of weather and environmental data storage and application functionality into the AFW VPC and Agile DevSecOps environment. These efforts will execute... the HBAW migration plan that will be coordinated with the AFW VPC Center of Excellence engineering and migration teams, with identification of inter-dependencies of functionality and schedules. This effort will support AFLCMC/HBAW and AFW with the enterprise migration into the AFW VPC. Job Duties/Responsibilities: • Assist AFLCMC Program Office with data tracking and creating Splunk dashboards • Writing and troubleshooting scripts with tools such as Python. • Train users on their use of Splunk. • Work with existing teams for data ingestion and parsing • reputed company custom Splunk applications or add-ons to reputed company functionality • Build dashboards highlighting the key data trends. • reputed company troubleshooting and provide assistance with the creation of Splunk search queries and dashboards. • Analyze data for anomalies and trends. • reputed company recommendations on system additions or enhancements. • Provides staff reports for contractual reporting. Qualifications • Bachelors degree and five years of experience in a reputed company field; or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree. • Must be a US Citizen and possess an active Secret reputed company clearance. • Ability to work with minimal direction in an open and fast-paced environment; proactive and flexible • Proficient with recognizing and onboarding new data sources into Splunk. • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python • Experience maintaining and administering Splunk implementations. • Experience with managing work tasks reputed company tools such as JIRA and reputed company. • Experience with AWS Cloud. • Experience working with DoD organizations. • Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment. • Demonstrated ability to present briefings to senior officials in both reputed company briefings and/or in reputed company discussions. • Employee must possess high-level collaboration and technical communication skills, to include ability to use reputed company Office products (MS TEAMS, reputed company, MS PowerPoint, and MS reputed company) reputed company salary range: $100,001 - $125,000.
