Job Summary:
FedEx, a globally recognized logistics company, is seeking a full-time, dedicated CDL Class B Hazmat Driver to join our team. As a CDL Class B Hazmat Driver, you’ll be responsible for safely operating a heavy commercial vehicle, transporting hazardous materials in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Job Description:
Our CDL Class B Hazmat Drivers play a critical role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of hazardous materials. You’ll be called upon to inspect vehicles before and after trips, report any maintenance issues, and adhere to all safety procedures when loading and unloading materials.
Responsibilities:
– Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck.
– Load and unload cargo.
– Properly track and document activity log.
– Report any issues or incidents to dispatch.
– Inspect truck before and after a trip.
– Adhere to all safety regulations concerning the transportation of hazardous materials.
Requirements:
– Valid CDL Class B license.
– Hazmat Endorsement.
– Minimum 2 years driving experience with a clean driving record.
– Ability to handle the physical workload.
– Strong work ethic.
Education Qualifications:
– High School diploma or equivalent required.
– Valid CDL Class B license with a hazmat endorsement.
