Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Movie & TV Interviewer based in Los Angeles to join our team. The ideal candidate has a deep appreciation for movies across genres, excellent communication skills, and the ability to express nuanced opinions in a concise manner. If you have a portfolio of published interviews, we invite you to apply. NOTE: The ideal candidate will be comfortable with producing written content and conducting in person and video-based interviews. Requirements • Los Angeles-based and able to attend screenings and interviews multiple times per week. • Proven experience as a writer and movie critic, interview, or similar role, with a portfolio of published articles (or equivalent). • A passion for cinema and a deep love for movies across a wide range of genres. • In-depth knowledge of film history, genres, and industry trends. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Journalism, or a related field. • Active presence on social media platforms with a focus on film-related discussions. • Familiarity with SEO best practices for online content. • Existing relationships with PR for screeners and interview access is a plus. • Experience writing movie and TV related news content.
