Position Details: Job Title : Accounting Admin Client : Generis Tek Inc. Location : Bloomingdale, IL 60108 Type of role : Part time (20 hours a week) About Generis Tek Inc: Generis Tek is an Information Technology/Professional Staffing company based in Bloomingdale IL. We offer both Contingent Labor & Permanent placement services to several Fortune 500 clients Nationwide. Full Job Description Accounting Related (60% of position): • Compile Quarterly and yearly financial statements. • Report monthly reports and various reports as requested. • Assist with record keeping and scan or file documentation as requested. • Assist with entering vendor invoices and resolving vendor discrepancies. • Review vendor statements and resolve past due items. • Company record keeping and maintenance in QuickBooks • Reconcile AR with weekly approved timesheet along with invoices and bank payment • Follow up with respective clients and internal sales team for past overdue payments • Process AP based on approved hours and invoices from vendors • Review timesheets for correct entry and process exempt, non-exempt, and payroll in ADP. • Compile time worked from timesheets to ensure that regular hours, overtime, sick pay, vacation, and holidays are calculate correctly. Maintain vacation accruals in payroll. • Coordinate client equipment return from terminated employee before final paycheck is released • Respond to all court assessments for garnishments, tax levy, etc. • Prepare wage and benefit reports for annual budgeting, monitor and analyze monthly payroll data, and report to management any discrepancies to the budget. • Deduct, record, and remit all union deductions (health, dues, etc.), analyze, and maintain related expense and accrual accounts. • Budget, record and analyze worker’s compensation expense, prepaid and accrual. • Prepare, monitor and analyze annual the benefit and insurance expense plans on a monthly basis. Review all insurance invoices and approve payment. Record company insurance expense and reconcile accrual accounts. • Multi-state registration and compliance for SUI and local withholdings Education/Experience: High School degree or equivalent and prior Accounting experience and/or training; good oral and written communication skills; possess the ability to recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Must have the ability to meet tight deadlines, work with high level of integrity and ensure accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality with Accounting information. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Excel and ADP for Payroll/QuickBooks is a MUST.
