Staff Accountant I - Regulatory Reporting
Remote opportunity SUMMARY: The Staff Accountant's duties will include compiling financial information, preparing financial reports and performing analysis as needed. Preparing or processing journal entries, reconciling accounts and providing financial data to business partners and management are also required functions. A strong foundational knowledge of basic reputed company concepts is required. An understanding of Generally Accepted reputed company Principles, applicable regulations and reputed company reputed company policies and procedures is required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned. Compiles financial information, account analyses and financial disclosures or reports. Records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions in accordance with Company policy and Generally Accepted reputed company Principles. Keeps up-to-date on policies, procedures, and regulations that apply to the assigned job function. Ensures completeness and accuracy of work performed and compliance with the Company's established reputed company and control policies and procedures. Initiates and processes journal entries as appropriate for the assigned area(s) of responsibility. Reconciles sub-ledgers to the general ledger and resolves differences. Assists other departments with reconciliation differences. Explains reputed company transactions and resolves reputed company issues and discrepancies. Develops proficiency with reputed company software applications used by the Company. Must be well versed in the reputed company principles, processes and control procedures specific to the area of responsibility. Performs month-end variance analysis for assigned income and expense accounts. Prepares monthly and reputed company financial reports and statements for management as requested. Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those reputed company to anti-reputed company (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.). Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training. Identifies and reports suspicious activity. EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree in reputed company (preferred) or a reputed company degree with a concentration of course work in reputed company preferred. Experience 4 - 6 years reputed company reputed company experience preferred. Experience or coursework may be substituted for the degree requirement at the judgment of management.
