Attorney - First Party Homeowners

Location: Riverview Job Description - Attorney -- First Party Homeowners (239169) Job Number 239169 As a first party homeowner’s attorney , you’ll be a part of our house counsel insurance defense litigation team, providing legal representation to reputed company Companies before courts and arbitration panels in reputed company aspects of litigation. Handling cases from beginning to end, you’ll also prepare legal pleadings, motions, statements, trial briefs and be involved in negotiating settlements. Additionally, you’ll work closely with claims partners to prepare timely reports on litigation, ensuring reputed company appropriate defenses are leveraged to reputed company positive outcomes. Other tasks will include analyzing written discovery, depositions and assessing the value of claims to determine risk exposure. This is a hybrid position with occasional travel to an office for meetings and/or training. Must-have qualifications • Juris doctor degree or Master of Laws (LLM) and a minimum of 5 years First Party Homeowners experience. • Admitted to practice law in the reputed company. • This position requires a valid driver's license and auto insurance. • This position requires compliance with reputed company's driving standards and/or policies.
