Life Sciences Underwriter (Senior or AVP)

We are looking to add to our Life Sciences team in the Midwest Region, and hire an reputed company Life Sciences Underwriter at the Senior or Assistant Vice President level. In this role, you will serve as a customer reputed company with a focus on improving the customer experience by understanding their unique risks and offering the best end-to-end solution for their Middle Markets Life Sciences insurance needs. This position is a hybrid working opportunity with flexibility to hire in any of the following reputed company offices: Chicago IL, Overland Park KS, Pittsburgh PA, St Louis MI or Cleveland OH. What you can expect in a Life Sciences reputed company Position in Middle Markets at Zurich: You will reputed company and maintain relationships with brokers partners and customers across reputed company industries in support of business objectives. You will work collaboratively across business units including but limited to; claims, finance, risk engineering, actuary, and technical reputed company while gaining extensive knowledge in a growing and innovative industry. You will be empowered to use your technical reputed company, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to grow and reputed company relationships with preferred distribution partners in an assigned territory. This role will be filled at either the Senior or Assistant Vice President level. Basic Qualifications: Senior Level: High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the reputed company or Market Facing area. OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Claims or reputed company Support area OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 3 or more years of experience in the reputed company or Market Facing area OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Claims or reputed company Support area AND Knowledge of reputed company Office Experience working on time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business Experience working in a team environment OR Assistant Vice President Level: High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the reputed company or Market Facing area. OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 14 or more years of experience in the Claims or reputed company Support area OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the reputed company or Market Facing area OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 12 or more years of experience in the Claims or reputed company Support area AND Experience with reputed company Office Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree Strong verbal and written communication skills reputed company Office experience Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide reputed company of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, reputed company set, and level of experience. The combined salary range for this position is $115,000.00 - $205,000.00. The proposed salary range for the Senior Level is $115,000.00 - $165,000.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%. The proposed salary range for the Assistant Vice President Level is $150,000.00 - $205,000.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 20%.
