In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing inpatient care management, working closely with nurses and support staff to manage inpatient care utilization at various levels, including hospital, market, regional, or national. The role requires a strong understanding of data-driven care management, utilizing evidence-based medicine (EBM) to guide clinical staff and engage practicing physicians in discussions that promote reputed company patient care. You will serve as a primary clinical educator and mentor, facilitating the achievement of patient care goals through direct support and guidance to nursing staff. As an ICM Medical Director, you will chair periodic market reputed company meetings with Market Medical Directors, network contractors, and nurse management to address market-specific relationship issues and practice habit opportunities.
