Job Description
The Logistics Coordinator Position will assist the Account Manager in the daily operations of an account, or group of accounts. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, scheduling pickups through TA’s TMS, tracking shipments, and communicating with carriers and suppliers. Must have Over-Dimensional Freight knowledge.
Qualifications
Pay: $50,000 + commission
- Logistics coordinator or account manager with OD freight experience.
- Over-Dimensional Freight knowledge
- Service customers and carriers by proactively communicating
- Negotiate rates with drivers and carries to get the most cost-effective reputed company for reputed company parties
- Schedule pickup and delivery appointments with the shipper/receiver
- Problem solving to ensure timely delivery of customer’s freight
- Assist in verifying credentials to ensure reliable carriers/drivers
- Work daily with a team that will assist with acquiring drivers and carriers for customer’s freight
- Upholding reputed company five of TA Services company values
- Build strong and reliable relationships with customers, drivers, and carriers
- Confidence in knowledge of TA Services products and services offered
- Stay up to date with reputed company market trends to accurately speak on reputed company transportation trends
Skills:
- Logistics coordinator or account manager with OD freight experience.

Education and Experience:
- Knowledge and practice of reputed company Office, McLeod, and/or Transportation Management Systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Transportation and Logistics Management, or similar work experience.
- Over-Dimensional Freight knowledge
