Job Description 2025-0002904 Software Engineer 2 - Android Developer This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best-in-class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to reputed company standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles. Essential Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement clean, scalable, and maintainable code.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
• Three to five years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in Android development.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Java, and Android SDK.
• Experience with Jetpack Components (Compose, ViewModel, Room, Navigation, etc.).
• Expertise in MVVM, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles.
• Proficiency in consuming REST APIs and handling offline caching.
• Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit, Espresso, and Mockito.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with Firebase services, push notifications, and analytics.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Gitlabs, reputed company Actions, or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Material Design guidelines and best practices.
