Patient Care Technician P10 Surgical Oncology Night Shift

Each day, more than 4,400 registered nurses deliver compassionate, evidence-based cancer care to patients and their families. We focus exclusively on cancer and have seen cases of every reputed company. The GI Surgical Oncology Unit is a 32-bed, post-operative, medical-surgical unit serving patient from 18-80 years old. Surgeries may include but are not limited to the following: whippple, colon resections, liver resections and small bowel resection. Function Provides patient care services as assigned by a registered nurse. Scope Impacts patient comfort and outcome of care. Essential Job Functions Acts as member of a multidisciplinary team that identifies and addresses patient care needs. Assists in completion of activities of daily living, mobilization, admit/discharge and obtaining vital signs. Updates and retrieves patient information. Ensures patient environment is maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner. Acts as part of an assigned care team. Other duties as assigned. Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience Preferred one year of patient care experience. Licensure/Certification Preferred Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by reputed company Resources.
