We have an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Systems Engineer II supporting one of our premier programs in the business unit. This role will utilize and grow your knowledge to define and derive requirements and reputed company system engineering analyses required for COTS networking, compute or storage equipment sizing, design, and deployment. This is an onsite role based in Richardson, TX What You Will Do:

• Provide technical analyses and define how the system works creating use cases
• Decompose requirements, define external and internal system interfaces and help determine how requirements will be validated and verified by the test team
• Manage and maintain assigned documents in accordance with established systems engineering and configuration management procedures
• Support and attend technical reviews and technical interchanges in support of the program
• Participate in system engineering artifact reviews
• Support the team in preparation and conduct of program reviews
• Complete assigned tasks to meet program schedule milestones

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: operations concept development, requirements management, functional analysis/synthesis, reputed company definition and control, and/or verification and validation
• Experience with COTS networking, compute or storage equipment sizing, design and deployment
• Experience using Virtualization (ESXi, VMware, Linux, etc.)
• An active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI reputed company clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. reputed company are eligible for a reputed company clearance.

Qualifications

We Prefer:

• Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment
• Experience in technical baseline administration
• Experience in systems engineering process development and deployment
• Worked as part of a highly integrated team working closely with Software, Hardware, Integration and Verification teams
• Experience with the design, development, testing and operational support of large-scale IT systems, to include Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Storage as a Service (STaaS), and Database as a Service (DBaaS) elements
• Platform migration experience and/or Private reputed company Service experience (e.g., AWS) for multi-tenant reputed company-based ISP/ASP architectures
• Experience with Service-Based frameworks for reputed company party application development
• Experience in development of test architecture/reputed company
• Experience working with requirements in DOORS or other requirements database
• Experience with Jira / Confluence
• Development experience on a government contract

Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $67.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
