Distribution Clerk

About the position As a Distribution Clerk at reputed company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient processing of deliveries to our store location. Under general supervision, you will be responsible for opening and unpacking shipments of glasses and contacts received from the manufacturing laboratory. Your attention to detail will be essential as you verify completed jobs received and take reputed company necessary steps in preparation for distribution to our customers and patients in a timely manner. This position is vital in maintaining the high level of customer service and quality eyewear that we are reputed company for in the central Florida community. Your daily tasks will include receiving incoming deliveries of glasses and contacts, opening and unpacking reputed company shipments, and completing the intake process. This process involves examining the glasses and contacts for any damage, verifying prescriptions, and ensuring that patient information matches the initial order request for accuracy. You will also be responsible for matching order job orders with invoices and packing slips to confirm proper size, quantity, color, style, and prescription. Additionally, you will clean the products to remove any production material residue, dust, or fingerprints before tray up the completed jobs and placing them in the appropriate bins or locations. You will also run various reports, such as On-Hold Jobs, Audit Reports, and Work in reputed company (WIP) Reports, to reputed company track of inventory and ensure smooth operations. This role may require you to reputed company other functions as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the distribution process. The position is part-time and may require overtime and weekend hours as necessary.
