AWS Cloud Database Engineer(SQL Server)
AWS Cloud Database Engineer San Antonio, TX (Hybrid) Long-Term Contract Were assisting a client, a prestigious and large investment management company, in their search for a AWS Cloud Database Engineer. This is a long-term contract opportunity based out of San Antonio, TX (Hybrid).
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience 10 years of SQL server administrator experience. Proficiency in SQL server, Always On, PowerShell and Terraform. Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation. Strong PowerShell scripting abilities for automation and troubleshoot/debug existing PowerShell scripts and integration tasks. Technical Skills Primary: SQL DBA, Always On, PowerShell, AWS (EC2 instances) and Terraform (Extensive experience). Secondary: PostgreSQL/Auora PostgreSQL and Oracle RDS. Experience with cloud environments (AWS). Knowledge of database security best practices and high availability setups for Cloud Environments. Understanding/building of the Automation and interact with Application team for troubleshooting and debugging framework issues. Preferred Qualifications It's good to have cloud platform Certifications (AWS). Experience with additional automation tools (DMS, etc) or programming languages (PowerShell).
Responsibilities
Database Design & Management Design and manage highly availability solutions, scalable databases using SQL Server, Always On and Windows Clusters. Work collaboratively with the Offshore and Onshore team. Focal point of contact between with Customer and Solugenix team on technical/Solution discussions. Strong Written/Verbal communication who can deal with customer on daily basis. Apply Job!
