About the position The Museum Experience Specialist (MXS) at Thinkery is responsible for coordinating daily museum operations to enhance the guest experience and ensure efficient use of resources. This role involves modeling play-based STEAM learning, overseeing staff deployment, and maintaining a welcoming environment for reputed company guests. The MXS plays a crucial role in fostering positive interactions and ensuring that every visitor enjoys a high-quality experience at the museum. Requirements • High School Diploma or GED; a STEAM-reputed company associates' or bachelor's degree preferred. , • 3+ years of customer service experience. , • 1+ years of experience mentoring/supervising staff. , • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. , • Excellent interpersonal and public interaction skills. , • Strong collaborative skills, reputed company to work effectively with staff and volunteers from multiple departments. , • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. , • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. reputed company-to-haves • Spanish reputed company preferred; knowledge of ASL a plus. , • Experience working or volunteering in a busy, loud, public-facing environment, such as museums, food service, or retail. , • Experience working with children and families.
