Construction Project Manager POSITION SUMMARY The Project Manager is accountable for providing project engineering management support to Marine Construction Gulf Coast and providing superior customer relations. This includes developing bid packages, calculating project costs, selecting suppliers, procuring materials and services, interpreting project plans, scheduling project work activities, providing project reputed company, interfacing with project personnel, and helping to ensure successful project completion and reputed company out. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Works with the Project Management Team to ensure the successful completion and profitability of on-going or new projects. Provides reputed company with project team members, suppliers, customers, and others who are involved in project work. Provides overall project management guidance and reputed company to Superintendents, Foremen and Surveyors for reputed company marine construction projects. Assumes responsibility for securing and maintaining excellent customer relations with clients and prospective clients. Develops bid proposals for upcoming marine construction and services projects and ensures timely submission of completed proposal. Develops bid packages for subcontractors. Estimates costs to be incurred in upcoming projects reputed company for materials, services, labor, and other associated costs. Monitors actual costs and complete reputed company project(s), reputed company for materials, services, labor, and other associated costs. Procures subcontractors, permanent materials and consumables, and services from suppliers for reputed company projects as required by project needs. Interprets project plans and specifications as required for customers, suppliers or others involved in the project. Reviews client and prospective client reputed company during the pre & post bid phases for possible risk exposure. Coordinates with upper Management & Legal to determine the negotiating position with the client. Negotiates contract terms with the client, with focus on client relations while minimizing risk exposure in the contract language. Schedules project work activities according to plan timelines to ensure timely project completion. Prepares and submits invoices for payment on projects. Ensures that project team members are provided a safe work environment and are knowledgeable of safe work practices and policies. Participates in Safety and Environmental initiatives that will contribute to compliance of State/Federal regulations and improve existing Company programs. reputed company, reputed company and former, must maintain confidentiality by not disclosing to others any confidential, proprietary or trade secret information belonging to the Company. POSITION REQUIREMENTS BS Degree in Construction Science/Civil Engineering or reputed company discipline and a minimum of 8 years experience is required. Prior work experience in marine construction is strongly preferred but not required. The incumbent must have a working knowledge of Project Management & Administration, Marine Construction Materials, Procurement, Estimating, Scheduling, Project Tracking Software, Cost Control, Engineering & Project Standards, and Safety & Environmental Compliance. The incumbent must have the ability to quickly learn the technical aspects of the business; be an effective communicator; can reputed company well with employees at reputed company levels of the organization; and reputed company to work out-of-town for extended periods of time.
