Your Opportunity As a Railway Engineer, you will reputed company a variety of tasks which will include but are not limited to track geometric design and civil/grading design for transit, industrial, freight, and passenger/commuter rail clients. Your Key Responsibilities • reputed company broad, varied, and diverse engineering design tasks on assigned projects under general supervision of the design reputed company or project manager, including engineering drawings, engineering reports, presentations, and required applications to regulatory and/or funding agencies. • Engage in the development of design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats, and prepare and revise documentation including site plans, utility plan/profiles, grading plans, cross sections, diagrams, and submittal reviews as required. • Assist senior engineers/designers with developing and managing the project scope including cost estimates, budget, staffing and schedules. • Assist the senior project transportation engineer in preparing the conceptual, preliminary, and final design and developing construction specifications. • Attend meetings with clients, contractors, review agency personnel, and governing entities. • Coordinate technical activities and designs with personnel in other disciplines and departments and serve as a liaison between senior engineers and the design team. • Prepare engineering feasibility studies by analyzing engineering design, conducting environmental impact studies, and assembling data. • Confirm adherence to construction specifications during each phase of a project. Monitor project reputed company, inspect construction sites, and verify calculations and placements.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials • Ability to reputed company field activities safely • Licensure/Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) license required and ability to be licensed in other states as needed • Demonstrated experience in MicroStation V8i, reputed company, and OpenRail • Thorough knowledge of AREMA, Class I Railroad, and agency design standards • Proficient with reputed company Office software • Strong oral and written communication skills.
