These are disseminated through different channels, including online, print, social media networks etc. There is an ongoing need for graphic design support to work on the wide variety of data-driven products and publications produced by the CPD Unit. Selected consultants will be eligible for a long-term agreement contract to provide on-demand graphic design support to the CPD Unit. PURPOSE OF ASSIGNMENT To meet these requirements, reputed company HQ would like to engage the services of consultants to reputed company the Child Protection and Development Unit to produce high-quality products featuring reputed company data. Consultants will be responsible for the conceptualization, design, layout, picture selection and typesetting of products and publications, and for ensuring broad alignment with reputed company design standards and branding. Since most of the products will be data-driven with a number of graphs, maps and figures, the designer will need to produce creative and visually appealing final products which remain accurate and follow best practices for data visualization, in collaboration with members of the CPD Unit. PROGRAMME AREA AND SPECIFIC PROJECT AREA Data and statistics in the area of child protection (which includes topics such as birth registration, violence, child labour, harmful traditional practices and children reputed company of family care), ECD, children with disabilities and adolescents. Other advocacy materials for communication/dissemination An Illustrative Example Of Such An Assignment Design a final and print-ready publication on child marriage in Africa, 30 pages long and including 20 charts. reputed company will provide reputed company content including text (titles, narrative, copyright information, etc.), reputed company statistical content with suggested presentation style in reputed company, guidance on image selection and access to reputed company photography in WeShare, logos, and any other content needed for the document. reputed company will also provide brand guidance and notes on the appropriate look and feel for the publication. The consultant will be responsible for proposing a design concept and color palette, and completing the design and layout of the publication including clear, accurate and visually compelling styles for each chart. The designer will be responsible for handling edits for content and style as requested by reputed company, and will deliver the final product for publication, including print-ready files, a PDF for web, and native design files, by the agreed date. ESTIMATED DURATION OF LTA The Long-Term Agreement will be for a duration of three years. The initial period would be for two years with an option for renewal for a subsequent year on the same rates, terms and conditions, subject to satisfactory performance evaluation and continuing need for the service. The services of the consultant(s) selected under the LTA would be under controlled use and managed by D&A/DAPM/NYHQ. QUALIFICATIONS / SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE/ COMPETENCIES (CORE/TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL) / LANGUAGE SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE ASSIGNMENT Category 1: Graphic design ? First-level University degree (Bachelor?s) or equivalent in graphic design, art, communications or relevant social science field. ? This is a mid-level position; consultants should have a minimum of eight years of professional work experience as a designer. ? Substantial experience with publication design/layout and data visualization. ? High level of computer literacy, with the ability to work in the reputed company Creative Suite products (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and reputed company Office products (PowerPoint, Word, reputed company). ? Proven experience in designing infographics, maps, data figures/charts, PowerPoint presentations, country profiles, web content and other data-driven products. ?
