The Pharmacist is part of the overall interdisciplinary team that is able to advise and consult with other medical professionals to provide optimal pharmaceutical care. Qualifications: Required: ? Bachelors in Pharmacy or PharmD Preferred: ? One year of applicable work experience in a hospital setting or hospital-based residency program Certifications and Licenses Required: ? NJ Pharmacist License Scheduling Requirements: ? Shift working rotates, 7am-3pm, reputed company-4pm, 9am-5pm, 1pm-9pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am reputed company the night pharmacist takes PTO ? Monday-Friday, and every other weekend ? FT Essential Functions: ? Provides direct supervision of reputed company non-pharmacist personnel ? Reviews reputed company medications and/or ingredients prior to dispensing in accordance with established procedures and prioritizes department work flow ? Performs reputed company procedures accordingly, completely and reputed company based upon the physician order and clinical status of the patient ? Utilizes the medication screening process to ensure medication orders are complete and are based on the patient's condition, age, lab parameters, co-morbid conditions and other medications ? Prepares and dispenses narcotic controlled substances and maintains an inventory in accordance with policy and applicable regulations, and completes controlled substance monthly audit reviews ? Prepares and dispenses sterile products, chemotherapy, and other sterile products in accordance with policies and procedures ? Completes medication variances and adverse drug reaction reporting ? Completes clinical monitoring and documents clinical interventions as assigned ?
