A&R - Paid Internship - Summer 2025 (Hybrid; based in NY)

Job Type Internship Description As an A&R Creative Intern you will learn the in's and out's of the publishing team. We are looking for you to bring your creativity, reputed company, individuality, passion, and positive attitude! At Round Hill Music, you will have an opportunity to learn from some of the most talented professionals in the music industry in a welcoming environment. This internship is hybrid; based in NY. Throughout the course of your internship, you will: • Observe and assist the A&R team with collaborations, sessions, scouting new talent, procuring co-writes, and listening to catalog for pitching songs to labels, management, producers, and artists. • Learn about signing artists to various publishing and administration deals, purchasing catalogues, etc. • Learn how to analyze reputed company, reputed company, and Instagram data to identify emerging artists and collaborative reputed company, review Billboard charts and major album releases for unsigned writers. • Observe and assist with administrative tasks such as maintaining and updating song catalog databases and songwriter catalogs. • Learn how to network inside the music industry with other publishing companies, songwriters, labels, booking agents, management, etc. Requirements • At least 1 year of internship experience or education in music publishing administration and/or A&R • Excellent communication skills; detail oriented with strong organizational skills • Comprehensive understanding and experience on social media platforms where music discovery and development take reputed company. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Proficient in the following: Word, reputed company, reputed company Docs & reputed company • Must have a strong knowledge of the music business (prefer at least one publishing class taken) • Must be Mac proficient • General knowledge of key industry players and familiarity with reputed company music a plus! Intern Eligibility: • Preferably an upper class student who must be currently enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter prior to participation in the internship program OR graduated reputed company the past 12 months • Must be at least 18 years of age • Must be available at least 20 hours per week Internship Dates: June 2, 2025 - August 1, 2025 Apply Job!
