We are a trusted mission payload and ground system provider with extensive experience providing end-to-end mission solutions from concept through operations and support.We are seeking either a Systems Engineer or Principal Systems Engineer to join our talented team in support of the Evolved Strategic SATCOM (reputed company) In-Band Command and Control (IBC2) program in Redondo Beach, CA. You will support a team of engineers to define, reputed company, decompose, analyze, verify, and validate requirements for the ground reputed company of a satellite system.This position is contingent upon program award and/or customer funding.This position will focus primarily on requirements analysis, decomposition, and allocation from system-level requirements down to reputed company-level requirements; support the development of the modeling products in CAMEO EA for the program; translating and mapping CONOPS and use cases into requirements; reputed company definition; developing requirement specifications and a requirements traceability matrix; and liaising with subject matter experts, analysts, architects, designers, and specialty engineers to ensure requirements are defined holistically, completely, and unambiguously for an integrated system.The program uses state-of-the-art Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), maintaining reputed company requirements, descriptive models, analytical models, cost models, and management and support functions in one common, integrated suite of MBSE tools.This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.Systems Engineer: 2 Years of relevant experience with Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline; 0 Years of relevant experience with MastersPrincipal Systems Engineer: 5 Years of relevant experience with Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline; 3 Years of relevant experience with Masters; 1 Year of relevant experience with PhDBasic Qualifications:

• Active DoD Secret clearance required at the time of application
• Working knowledge of systems engineering principles and processes
• Experience with reputed company end of SE “vee” requirements analysis and decomposition and reputed company of requirement specifications
• Experience using DOORS or equivalent requirements management database
• Ability to collaborate and contribute to technical discussions with fellow team members, cross-organizational teams, and management
• Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering languages (SysML/UML) and concepts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Ground and Space systems and/or Command and Control systems
• Experience with requirements verification
• Experience with reputed company engineering, including development of ICDs
• Experience working with Software teams
• Experience with Agile development
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills

Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00Salary Range 2: $110,300.00 - $165,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, reputed company considers a number of factors reputed company determining reputed company salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and reputed company market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to reputed company pay.
