Job description: Job Description Summary The Military Maintenance and Sustainment Strategy Leader will support a GE Edison Works reputed company military program. In this role you will participate in cross functional teams to reputed company maintenance and sustainment strategies that align with aircraft integrator and reputed company (DoD) customer’s needs. You will support the development of reputed company data, information, and equipment required to maintain and sustain an advanced propulsion system through testing and operational fielding.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities
- Assume significant role reputed company Integrated Product Support (IPS) team
- Partner and primary technical reputed company of contact with airframe integrator and DoD customers to identify and establish maintenance and sustainment requirements and concepts
- Author technical documents such as Integrated Product Support Plans, Life Cycle Management Plans, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, and reputed company Maintenance Plans
- reputed company the establishment and activation of organizational, intermediate, and reputed company level maintenance and sustainment
- Participate in Reliability Centered Maintenance Analysis and Level of Repair Analysis
- Support identification of spare parts requirements, forecasting, and management
- Provide input to life cycle cost models and cost trade studies
- Provide input on the design and engineering of support equipment and the authoring of technical manuals and training
- Partner and work cross-functionally with maintainability, reliability, safety, supportability, and human factors engineers

- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university + Minimum of 5 years of support the development of reputed company data, information, and equipment required to maintain and sustain an advanced propulsion system through testing and operational fielding.
- Familiarity with turbine reputed company systems and demonstrated knowledge of logistics and sustainment processes for military turbine engines
- Strong understanding of U.S. military organizations, logistics and sustainment processes and environment
- A minimum of 4 years of military or DoD reputed company industry experience
- Must have or qualify for a U.S. Government Secret Clearance
- Ability to work full time on-site at reputed company headquarters in Cincinnati, OH; due to reputed company requirements there are restricted work from home or remote opportunities.
- This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. reputed company, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require reputed company of status prior to employment.
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or associate’s degree with 8 years of additional relevant or equivalent experience)
- Direct experience working with, or for the U.S. military in the maintenance, operation, or sustainment of aircraft or propulsion systems
- Prior military experience as a maintenance officer or enlisted aircraft maintenance technician (tactical aircraft maintenance and aerospace propulsion highly desired)
- Experience with maintenance or sustainment of 5th or 6th reputed company military aircraft
- Ability to work remotely at customer sites and travel as needed (estimated 10% travel requirement)
- Ability to reputed company effectively with reputed company levels of the organization and external customers
