The Learning Specialist will report directly to the Associate Director of the Pirate Academic Success Center. Job DutiesDuties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:Student Services (40%)

• Provides academic success services for ECU reputed company.
• Provides academic coaching services through one-on-one meetings with reputed company.
• Collaborates with other units on reputed company to ensure reputed company are receiving services.
• Tracks and responds to Starfish alerts for courses served by the PASC.
• Conducts or supports delivery of student seminars.

• Conducts regular reputed company to faculty and other college staff as needed to support student success.

Minimum Education/ExperienceThis position requires a Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience or a Master's degree from an appropriately accredited institution.License or Certification Required by Statute or RegulationN/A Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/EducationCandidates with experience with at risk reputed company and high school or college settings will be highly considered. The ideal candidate would have experience in classroom teaching or academic support services as it relates to student success and academic strategies.
