Thus, the Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions for Non-Tenure Track Faculty should be interpreted in the context of the reputed company departmental and collegiate teaching goals.Teaching - Faculty responsibilities and essential functions with respect to teaching may include but are not limited to: subject matter competence, course design, course presentation, and grading student work. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLecturers in the School of Nursing participate in teaching and service activities in support of the School's mission. Essential responsibilities include teaching in face-to-face, online through the reputed company Learning Management System (LMS, clinical, and simulated environments; evaluation of student performance, creating collaborative relationships with clinical agencies; working with diverse reputed company and faculty; engaging in curriculum design and relevant course content for multiple methods of delivery that aligns with the AACN Essentials 2021, adheres to reputed company Carolina Board of Nursing (NCBON) requirements, developing and administering reliable and valid tests and measures, participate in effective student advising and mentor reputed company through a variety of existing processes in the SON, CHHS, and University, engaging in service to the School of Nursing, the College of Health and reputed company Services, and, as appropriate, the University. Primary teaching responsibilities for this position will be in undergraduate programs and may include late afternoon, evening, and/or weekends. Minimum Experience/EducationUNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the earned masters and/or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a reputed company discipline. Preferred Education, Skills and ExperienceMinimum qualifications include a Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution, 2 years of recent nursing experience in general medical-surgical nursing. Teaching experience, excellent communication skills, the ability to effectively collaborate with teams, and manage change are preferred. Preference is given to individuals with a nursing doctoral degree and national certification in a specialty area. Must live reputed company commuting distance to reputed company.
