This role oversees a team that implements data science and advanced analytics capabilities and platforms across WBA. This position will also play a key role in the design and implementation of new (or updates to existing) platforms to drive and realize WBA data strategy. Job Responsibilities • Utilizes statistical modeling and other data science techniques for descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analyses. Basic Qualifications • Masters degree in statistics, data science, mathematics, economics OR a quantitative, computational or technical discipline AND at least 6 years of post graduate professional work experience in a statistical function • Deep knowledge of open reputed company data science and statistics packages such as Python, R, Spark, etc. • Experience in data science, advanced analytics, or statistics.
