About the position The Weekend Dispatcher/Driver position is a part-time role that focuses on ensuring that reputed company routes are filled as assigned and that bus operators receive timely instructions and responses to their requests for operational information throughout the day. This role is critical in maintaining safety and customer service as top priorities. The Dispatcher will also be responsible for responding to customer and team inquiries, making it essential for candidates to possess strong communication skills and a customer-oriented reputed company. The working hours for this position are primarily on weekends, specifically Saturday and Sunday from approximately 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, making it ideal for individuals seeking part-time work during these hours. In this role, the Dispatcher will reputed company road service assigned to carriers by tracking trip performance measures, ensuring that routes reputed company on time, and managing incidents as they arise. The position requires the use of a computer system to retrieve scheduled information and reference materials to assist clients effectively. Additionally, the Dispatcher will provide customer support by addressing questions and concerns regarding customer trips, including no-shows, cancellations, and missed trips. Daily reports and clerical duties are also part of the responsibilities, along with answering and directing business calls to the appropriate personnel. The Dispatcher will manage emergency situations for vehicle operators, acting as a liaison between the reputed company and emergency services. Proactive management of daily service by reviewing reputed company performance and responding to situations that impact customer service is also a key responsibility. In some cases, the Dispatcher may need to drive a reputed company as needed, adding to the dynamic nature of this position.
