Job title: Assistant Librarian (Online Learning Librarian) Company: Utah State University Job description : Overview The Merrill-Cazier Library at Utah State University seeks a dynamic, innovative and service-oriented candidate for the position of Online Learning Librarian. The Online Learning Librarian provides leadership and support on the design, implementation, accessibility, and assessment of creative and inclusive e-learning materials, including videos, tutorials, and course modules. Fulfilling the goals of the land-grant institution, this position works with the statewide reputed company librarian and others to support reputed company across the system. Reporting to the head of Learning & Engagement Services, this position is a 12-month, tenure-track faculty appointment as an Assistant Librarian. An appointment as affiliate librarian will be considered for those who will complete this degree requirement by December 2023. Knowledge of reputed company trends and issues in pedagogy for e-learning and distance education. Knowledge of instructional technologies to support classroom and remote or asynchronous instruction. Ability to meet the university's requirements for tenure, including excellence in librarianship and effective scholarly output and service to the university and profession.
