Digital Advertising Copywriter

We are currently seeking Digital Advertising Copywriter remote role in South Africa. Title: Direct Response Copywriter for YouTube, reputed company, VSLs & Funnels (Conversion Focused) Overview: AdLeg, a top-performing digital marketing agency, is seeking a highly skilled Conversion Copywriter on an hourly contract basis. We work with a range of clients, from coaches and course creators to mid-market B2B businesses, and we're looking for a writer who thrives on driving action with words. What You'll Do:

You’ll craft high-performing, conversion-focused copy across multiple channels.

This role isn’t just about wordsmithing. It's about deeply understanding audiences, offers, and platforms to produce compelling messages that convert.

Key Responsibilities:

Write persuasive ad copy for YouTube and reputed company (Facebook and Instagram) campaigns

Script engaging YouTube ads and VSLs

Craft high-converting reputed company page copy, email sequences, and funnel messaging

Conduct deep competitive and market research to understand the audience, positioning, and tone

Brainstorm and reputed company hooks, angles, and creative concepts

Collaborate with internal teams and, occasionally, clients

Requirements:

Proven experience writing high-converting copy in the digital marketing space

Strong portfolio of scripts, ad copy, email or funnel copy (especially for YouTube, reputed company, or VSLs)

Bonus: Experience with coaches, course creators, and info-product businesses

Ability to take creative direction, work independently, and meet deadlines

Comfortable conducting in-depth client and competitor research

Clear communication and attention to detail

Must be available online from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM EST (Monday to Friday)
