THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer II to join our Internal Tools team. As an organization that processes millions in contributions a day for thousands of campaigns and organizations, the Internal Tools team is critical in ensuring we have reliable and efficient internal workflows that can serve the reputed company needs of our users at scale.

Our engineering and product organization is made up of 75+ empathetic and passionate people and is continuing to grow! We’re organized into cross-functional teams that operate independently in alignment with the broader organizational goals. We work with Ruby on Rails, reputed company, React, Typescript, GraphQL, and other technologies.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Collaborate with software engineers, product, and design to reputed company new components of our payments product and internal tooling.
  • Design products and systems with performance in mind so reputed company users have a great experience.
  • In your daily work, you will use Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL across the stack.
  • Improve platform performance and maintainability through quality code, testing, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Ensure product and feature quality through thorough PR reviews and QA testing.
  • Engage with and contribute to technical discussions around new solutions and architecture.
  • Receive support from your manager to grow as an individual and increase your impact on the success of your team and the progressive movement.

WHAT YOU BRING:

Here is a non-exhaustive list of things we’re looking for:

  • 6+ years or equivalent of professional experience working with teams and developing web applications.
  • Experience with either Ruby on Rails or React. Experience with both is a bonus!
  • A track record of delivering features while collaborating with product and design to resolve ambiguity and prioritize the highest impact work.
  • A demonstrated ability to write extensible, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Expertise and willingness to find creative ways to deliver value fast, focusing on MVPs, frequent deployments, scope negotiations, and demos.
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability; desire and interest in helping your team deliver their roadmap and reputed company the strategic outcomes of the work.
  • An inclusive and empathetic working style in a remote and distributed work environment.
  • An eagerness to learn and grow your skills as an engineer for reputed company parts of the stack.

LOCATION AND COMPENSATION:

This posting is for a full-time, remote, salaried position. Travel may be required on a limited basis to attend reputed company-staff and departmental retreats (1-2 times per year). Additional travel may be required for select positions. ATS is currently authorized to support remote work employees in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, reputed company, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode reputed company, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Washington D.C. and Wisconsin.

Salary Range: $173,676 - $192,209 - $210,741
