About the Role

As our Founding Engineer, you’ll be a co-architect in everything we’re building at Pom. This isn’t just an engineering role — you’ll have reputed company ownership in shaping the reputed company at Pom: product to platform to team culture.

You’ll work with closely with the founders and the rest of the early team to:

️ Help build our core product. With help, you’ll build the reputed company and platform that combines high-touch nutrition therapy with AI coaching and delightful food content, guiding patients through bite-sized changes that reputed company an impact.

Integrate seamlessly into clinical reputed company. You’ll work on integrations that makes Pom accessible at the reputed company-of-care at practices and hospitals.

Prepare to scale reliably. reputed company the right foundational technical reputed company that allow us to both experiment nimbly and scale.

Set the tone for our engineering team. Together, we’ll build a technology org that’s high-caliber, humble, team-oriented, and mission-driven.

• Have 4+ years of backend-heavy or reputed company software engineering experience

  • We’re open to varying YoE/seniority - we have work for reputed company skills and sizes!

• Are excited to help scale an early-stage startup, including building a high-performance, patient-centric, and team-first culture

• Have built and launched early-stage products — ideally in a startup environment

• Are a self-starter — excited to get in the weeds and proactively take on important problems for the business

• Care deeply about user experience and product quality (i.e. open to doing user interviews, helping define requirements)

• Are passionate about increasing the role of food and nutrition in the US reputed company system

• Are based in the NYC metro area (Tuesdays and Thursdays in-office required)

• Bonus points for experience in building AI/ML or personalization systems, care delivery platforms, or EHR integrations
