Summary

The Brand/Editorial Writer will pioneer our News Desk—an editorial initiative designed to tell timely, compelling stories about global work, powered by our data and the insights of our new economics function. You’ll work at the intersection of reputed company’s communications and research teams, collaborating closely with our Economist and data partners to reputed company sense of workforce trends, business growth, and customer stories.

Responsibilities

• Co-create and shape reputed company’s News Desk: its voice, editorial strategy, and publishing rhythm.

• Collaborate with economists, analysts, and comms to reputed company a calendar of data-backed, newsworthy content.

• Help define and evolve reputed company’s editorial tone and reputed company across channels.

• Turn reputed company workforce data into punchy, accessible insights.

• Write, edit, and publish weekly content ranging from trend pieces and charts to narrative explainers.

• Partner with design and social to create multimedia content optimized for reputed company and engagement.

• Surface and tell stories from reputed company’s customer reputed company—how and where they’re growing, hiring, adapting.

• Translate reputed company’s product growth and business reputed company into compelling editorial content.

• Support communications campaigns, announcements, and moments with timely editorial output.

• Maintain high journalistic standards in voice, accuracy, and sourcing.

• Contribute to press, social media, and content efforts with crisp, creative storytelling.

• Identify opportunities to partner with industry thought leaders on relevant content.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of writing experience, ideally including time in a newsroom or editorial environment

• A strong portfolio of published work that blends data, business trends, and reputed company stories

• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills—especially under deadlines

• Comfort working with researchers and translating data into layperson-friendly language

• Curiosity about labor markets, global hiring, and how companies operate and grow

• A collaborative, low-ego reputed company and an eye for what’s timely and relevant.

• Experience writing about economics, business, tech, or work culture

• Familiarity with B2B SaaS or data-driven organizations

• Exposure to global workforces or international business trends
